Cool build, thanks for sharing it. I usually stay away from summoner builds as I'm not fond of the playstyle but because this focused on chaos and used the mixture of minions I wanted to give it a try. To test the playstyle aspect of it I converted my scion to this to see how it worked and it actually performed really well. Here's a video of a quick Hydra run as Scion. I'm a little clunky summoning the spiders as I haven't played a summoner for a long, long time but the build performed really well even for my lack of summoner skill. | Posted by on Oct 11, 2019, 7:12:16 PM |

Coming from a normal Zombie build that I took to almost level 99 and not yet sure if I will try this out, but wanted to say that AG always beats Carrion Golem in my opinion. The movement speed from Victarios Flight alone would be worth it for the even better clear speed, not to mention area based Fortify, culling strike and crit multi from Kingmaker, which you didn't mention in the AG section btw. If you check, Carrion Golem is an extremely weak buff to your other minions and can basically only be counted as another damage dealing minion. Because it is so strong, Kingmaker is a bit expensive, but AG in the Baron with a level 21 gem and even delve depth 600 Aul did not kill my AG. So it is a one-time investment :D If you want to make absolutely 100% sure he never dies, invest 2ex into Gruthkul's Pelt. EDIT: Ah, also don't forget the Despair curse gloves. Of course, the build will insta phase Uber Elder anyway with the damage it has, but for harder bosses the reduced chaos resistance will make a difference. ' Ag does very littlle damage and so does not leech much. He can be pretty tough, but for such a huge invetsment Carrion Golem is WAY better. A lucky ball or shaper beam can kill Ag easily. So i stopped gambling and babysitting him a few leagues ago https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer All builds: http://www.angryroleplayer.com/path-of-exile-builds/ https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2143469 Last edited by Angry_Roleplayer on Oct 12, 2019, 12:18:51 AM | Posted by on Oct 12, 2019, 12:17:33 AM |
' I did countless Uber Elders and Shapers, and really deep delving, including the insane damage a 600 Aul puts out, and mine did never come even close to dying. My Zombies died in deep delves, but AG was unkillable with the insane regen. And going from the thread I was active in for two weeks, on the 150 pages maybe two people complained that their AG died, and they forgot to cap his resists. I mean, he has like 120k life and regens like 20k per second. He can face tank Uber Atziri's flameblast, never mind the low damage of a Shaper beam or ball. I stand by my opinion that every summoner that does not make use of AG loses out on a ton of survivability and clear speed/damage. Anyways, I just wanted to point out my one gripe I had with the otherwise very well made build. One other thing, have you tried using 1 Host, 2 Carnage and 1 Diabolist? That dude will have the whole screen perma enfeebled when he is linked with Blood Magic, increasing survivability by a lot. It is a great way to make use of the curse you are not using. And your minions will still always be at max PCs, just maybe a few seconds later after you enter a new area. Just slapped the most horrendous gear together to get a rough idea if I wanted to get the gloves and invest in some proper gear (I mean my chest is only 3linked for zombies lmao) spiders still clearing really well. I haven't tried a t15 or 16 yet but up to t14 the only thing the spiders have struggled with is blight with spread lanes and multiple bosses pushing. Seems like a fun build though. I probably will go for the gloves and see just how far my noob ass can push it. PS: If my zombies would stop slapping the worms half the time.. thatd be great lol. | Posted by iEUnbreakable on Oct 12, 2019, 2:05:19 AM |
' Yeah i did countless ubers too, a long time ago. And AG dies once in a while. A couple of lucky beams or degen and he;s gone. He's e extremely dumb and slow. It's all about the investment really. If you throw several exlats in him he will be pretty strong, but it's all about the currency. 99.9% of players will not even bother. And so do i. Also very annoying to babysit through ealry levels. As for Diabloist - not necessary as everything dies in under a second because Spiders are too fast. For PURE zombie build than could be an option, but with Spiders you don't need it. Double Chieftains were more important, as after the nerf they don't generate as much even with blood magic. https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer All builds: http://www.angryroleplayer.com/path-of-exile-builds/ https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2143469 Last edited by Angry_Roleplayer on Oct 12, 2019, 10:10:49 AM | Posted by on Oct 12, 2019, 10:09:42 AM |
' Yeah that's the tricky part. I had to get used to summoning spiders https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer All builds: http://www.angryroleplayer.com/path-of-exile-builds/ https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2143469 | Posted by on Oct 12, 2019, 10:13:13 AM |
I HIGHLY doubt that everything in depth 900+ dies instantly. But I'm done here lol. Last edited by Mecielle on Oct 12, 2019, 11:49:29 AM | Posted by on Oct 12, 2019, 11:42:14 AM |
